Gulf Researcher’s website development, a quick overview

Gulf Researcher is an international research company headquartered in Bahrain, delivering tailored research solutions to a wide range of clients. Gulf Researcher’s new brand strategy and identity are products of Unisono’s tried and tested strategic branding process. The new branding won a prestigious Rebrand 100 award in January 2020. As part of the brand rollout, we have developed Gulf Researcher’s website, a brand-new corporate digital portal which now serves a vital role in delivering Gulf Researcher’s story to the world.

Challenges we faced in developing the research brand website

Gulf Researcher has a straightforward, nononsense character, and for this corporate website, we wanted to ensure the end-product reflected exactly that.

To accomplish that goal, a mere re-skin of the brand’s previous website wasn’t enough. One of the main challenges we faced was how to filter, divide and organise a large amount of content into short, clear and digestible sections. Working together with the client, we came up with a site map and a hierarchical content structure that covers the services they provide, the industries they’re involved in, engagement models, and more.

Our strategic approach in developing Gulf Researcher’s website

We mapped out the key attributes that make up the brand’s DNA and translated them into UX and UI principles and designs. The final layouts, visual and literal content is lean and direct, in line with the brand’s precise, direct and ‘no-frills’ attitude. The minimal, clean and contemporary corporate website now perfectly expresses the brand’s credibility, professionalism and matter-of-fact personality.

The new website received glowing feedback from the client and their team. Since the beginning of the process, Gulf Researcher grew from a relatively small team into a global brand with a broad client base thanks to its reputation and quality of work.
