A quick introduction to GFH’s Annual Report 2018

With offices across the GCC, US and UK, Our long-standing banking client GFH is one of the leading financial investment companies in the Bahrain. Established in 1999, the firm has been a client of the agency for nearly a decade now. Unisono been responsible for all of GFH’s annual reports since we our award winning rebrand back in 2013. This 2018 annual report has finally reach our portfolio thanks to a small hiatus in traffic! 

 
The creative challenge

The creative challenge we had in creating the 2018 report was how to capture the client’s expansive focus on technology acquisitions. The client’s Corporate Communications also wanted to add a section on ESG to 2018’s report which helped them express their efforts in the areas of Environmental, Social and Governance. 

 
The creative approach

This year’s report retained the brand’s well established typographic approach and built upon the. The ESG section is woven into the body of the report and standouts thanks to the half page gatefolds.

 

Like in previous report’s, information graphics make the data stand out and demand attention. They create engaging viewing from the report allowing the brand’s financial performance to easily digested. 

 
The results of our 2021 Annual Report works

The agency worked on all aspects of this report, from design and copywriting to the crafting of the foil based print production. The covers  feature folded sections with black or holographic foils combined with typographic messages, creating a set of truly unique front covers that express the future focus of the brand’s year. 

 

The end result of the 2018 GHF Annual Report is a creative report that demands the readers attention and delivers on their curiosity. The report’s reception from all corners was great and we were delighted to learn how stakeholders from the CEO down were so effusively positive towards this work.

 

We thank GFH and their corporate comms team for their continued support of our design craft. It is pleasure to work on such demanding and fulfilling projects.
