Yara Jameel is a long time client of the agency so when she launched her new spa brand we were delighted at the prospect of helping her create something unique. Yara is part of the new generation of Bahraini, and entrepreneurial ‘it girl’ with bags of style and attitude. She wanted an identity which captured her love of high fashion but with a funkier personality.

The brand mark conveys both the classic and the contemporary with it’s sandwiching of swooshing script and slab serif initials. We applied an inline treatment and set it off at an angle to give the mark more attitude when applied to collaterals. A key line version was foiled over fibrous element papers to give the menu a richer, more tactile finish.

The leaflet uses flowers as a visual metaphor for the transformation you undertake at YBL – from budding seedling to a blooming rose. We used images of flowers which aligned with service and created a range of colourful pages which keeps your interest throughout the piece.
